Top 5 F1 Podcast to watch out for!

I'm gonna list the top places I go to for any F1 knowledge or information I may need surrounding a race weekend. And I want to share them with you just incase you have never heard of them.

(At the bottom I will put a list of all the other blogs, podcast, Youtube channels, and any other source you might find out there for your F1 information download.)

NUMBER 5 - SHIFT F1

So, I happened upon this podcast right when Covid happened. Which was pretty funny since it was there season primer episode. Now, its a great episode since it give you a big breakdown of what F1 is about. From the cars, to DRS, and to everything else going on that season (Episode 96). The show is hosted by three gentlemen who give a real fun atmosphere to the show. Two of the host are American, so it gives an interesting aspect on the perspective on the sport. Most places you will find news on the sport comes more from the European side of the globe. Since the sport has more of a reach there, than here in the states. They usually have a pre-race and post race podcast, along with extra news from other forms of motorsport. They do have a Patreon channel for fans to help the channel and get extra content. I'm not a Patreon subscriber, but it does seem like they post some interesting F1 related content on there as well.

NUMBER 4 - AUTOSPORT PODCAST/MAGAZINE

Now, this one is definitely more traditional F1 media related. It gives a great in-depth look into the race weekend from Friday practice all the way up to the race itself. The host and his several different contributors give a great banter through out the podcast. They also give you a lot of other content as well around motorsport in general. They talk to drivers, team principles, they talk about rally and other races. It is a great podcast to get more on the ground info from the paddock itself. Along with more knowledge about other forms of racing. That just might peak your interest and gain another sport to watch!

NUMBER 3 - TALKING BULL

Okay, this one I am putting in because I am a huge Red Bull fanboy(no shame)! But, it really is a good podcast and provides some insight into the team and the day to day of the company itself. They the two drivers on a lot and a ton of other guest spanning the Red Bull family. To me just hearing the drivers laugh gives them more of a human side than being just racing drivers!

NUMBER 2 - BEYOND THE GRID/F1 NATION

So, this one is really two podcast. However, they share similar traits and are hosted by the same journalist. Beyond the Grid give one on one interviews with drivers, team personnel and all others around the paddock! If you do start this podcast I plead with you to start on the very first episode and make your way through. There roughly an hour long and give amazing insight into the sport from past to present.

F1 Nation is a more a weekly podcast that dives into the race weekends. With driver interviews, team interviews and others from the past to the future. This one is a bit more fast paced and has a lot of energy behind it!

NUMBER 1 - WTF1

This was my very first F1 podcast/blog I would listen to and read on a constant basis. Especially when I first got into the sport heavily again, after Drive to Survive (Netflix Doc). The banter between the three presenters is always entertaining and fun to listen too! I never get tired of it. They have a unique way of telling viewers about F1, that isn't seen in other forms of F1 media. This is by far my number one pick for new/old F1 fans out there. They have a website to catch new reports. As well as a Youtube channel, where they do interviews with drivers in a very different way!
